Weinheim. December 13, 2010. The agreement signed on June 25, 2010
between Freudenberg Chemical Specialities and SurTec International
GmbH, Zwingenberg, concerning the acquisition by the Freudenberg
company of the business shares of SurTec has now become legally
binding and SurTec is now a part of the Freudenberg group clearing
the way for the rapid integration.
The acquisition is part of the Freudenberg Group's strategy to systematically
grow the business of chemical specialities. SurTec develops, produces
and markets chemical products and processes for industrial cleaning,
the pre-treatment, finishing and post-treatment of metal surfaces,
plating on plastics and anodizing. The company has a workforce of some
