chromitAL® TCP is a passivation based on trivalent chromium. On aluminium and it´s alloys a slightly iridescent and visible layer is produced. The layer is suitable for subsequent painting, but it also exhibits an excellent bare protection substituting hexavalent chromium processes. The corrosion protection of (unsealed) anodising layers is increased significantly by applying SurTec 650 chromitAL®. SurTec 650 chromitAL® was honored by the Innovation Award "Initiative Mittelstand". IMDS Id. 30429267.

Powdery, Cr(VI)-free trivalent pretreatment for aluminium. Particularly suitable for the pretreatment before laquering, powder coating and glueing and also applicable on alloyed and casted aluminium. It is easy to handle in immersion, spray and wipe application and produces an iridescent, faintly blue to tan and visible layer. The product is heat resistant up to 100 °C with minimal loss in corrosion resistance.
