chromitAL® TCP is a passivation based on trivalent chromium. On
aluminium and it´s alloys a slightly iridescent and visible layer
is produced. The layer is suitable for subsequent painting, but it also
exhibits an excellent bare protection substituting hexavalent chromium
processes. The corrosion protection of (unsealed) anodising layers is
increased significantly by applying SurTec 650 chromitAL®. SurTec
650 chromitAL® was honored by the Innovation Award "Initiative
